Campsite rules

1° ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

 
 

To be admitted to enter, settle and stay at Camping La Tamarissière, you must have been authorised to do so by the Management or a member of the reception staff. It is the Management’s duty to ensure that the campsite is kept in good order and that these internal regulations are complied with. Staying on the La Tamarissière campsite in Agde implies acceptance of the provisions of these rules and a commitment to comply with them.

 
No customer may reside on the campsite all year round.


Minors not accompanied by an ascending parent or legal representative are not admitted. The age of participants will be checked on the day of arrival. Failure to comply with this rule will result in cancellation of the booking, the stay will remain due and no refund will be made. No exceptions will be made.

2° POLICE FORMALITIES

Anyone wishing to stay at the campsite for at least one night must first go to reception with a valid identity document, complete the formalities required by the police and pay the fee. Minors not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian are not admitted.

3° INSTALLATION

The tent, camper van or caravan and its associated equipment must be installed on the pitch indicated in accordance with the instructions given by the management. Only one installation is included in the daily rate (see rates for additional installations). The vehicle must be parked in the precise location given by the reception staff.


Tents or other facilities are not permitted on the plot of your rental accommodation.

4° RECEPTION DESK

Reception opening times can be found on our website, at the campsite entrance and in the welcome booklet given to you on arrival.
Reception is there to help make your stay as pleasant as possible: information on campsite services, sports facilities, tourist attractions in the surrounding area, useful addresses, campsite entertainment, reporting technical problems, making an appointment for a site inspection, etc.
Any inappropriate behaviour towards our staff (aggression, insults, threats, inappropriate gestures, lack of respect, etc.) may lead to the immediate exclusion of the members of the holiday concerned without reimbursement or compensation.
Similarly, proper dress is required in Reception.

5° ROYALTIES

Rental of camping pitches for tents, caravans and motor homes
The total cost of your stay must be paid no later than 30 days before your arrival. Please go to reception on the day of your arrival, from 3pm, with your booking confirmation. The amount of the fee is displayed at the entrance to the campsite and is also available on www.camping-latama.com.
They are payable according to the number of nights spent on the site and for departures before 12 noon, after which an extra night is charged.
The tourist tax and eco-participation are also due and can be paid on site.

Furnished accommodation
The total amount of the reservation must be paid no later than 30 days before your arrival. You must present your booking confirmation at reception on the day of your arrival. The cost of services is displayed at the entrance to the campsite and is also available on www.camping-latama.com. They are due according to the number of nights spent on the campsite. You will also be asked to pay a deposit on arrival by credit card imprint or in cash (cheques are not accepted).

Customers arriving without a reservation must pay for their stay as well as the taxes on arrival according to the rates displayed at the entrance to the reception and the campsite.
These sums are due according to the number of nights spent on the site and for a departure before 10 a.m. Beyond this time, an extra night will be charged for pitches and a late departure charge will be added for accommodation.
Campsite users are asked to inform the reception office of their intention to change their stay and of their departure the day before, indicating the time if they are leaving before reception opens.
The tourist tax and eco-participation are also due and can be paid on site.

6° ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

In rental accommodation: arrivals are from 5.00 p.m., departures before 10.00 a.m.
An “early arrival” option is available at extra cost, if you wish to be able to access your accommodation before 12.00 pm (see price list and General Terms and Conditions).
We also offer a “late check-out” option, if you wish to stay in your accommodation until 1 p.m. on the day of your departure (see rates and terms and conditions).


Pitches: arrivals from 2pm, departures before 12pm.


Pitches with private sanitary facilities: arrivals from 3pm, departures before 12pm.


If your accommodation or pitch is not vacated at the time indicated, a late departure charge will be added to your deposit (see rates).

7° NOISE AND SILENCE – ANIMALS

a) Noise and silence

 

Campsite users must avoid any noise or chatter that might disturb their neighbours. Sound equipment must be adjusted accordingly.
Doors and trunks must be closed as discreetly as possible.
There must be complete silence between 11pm and 7am (midnight and 7am in high season).
If you notice or experience any nuisance during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact our security service, who will be able to intervene if necessary: 04.67.94.79.46

b) Pets


Our campsite is dogfriendly. So that we can continue to welcome your 4-legged friends in the best possible conditions, we ask you to respect the following rules:
– 1st category “attack dogs” (pit bulls) and 2nd category “guard and defence dogs” (rottweilers and similar) are not allowed on the campsite.
– Pets must be kept on a lead and wear the collar provided by the campsite on arrival.
– Pet owners are required to pick up after their pets to keep the campsite clean.
– Only one pet is allowed in our furnished accommodation. We ask you to respect the furniture and bedding. Failure to do so may result in a higher cleaning charge (see price list).
– Pets that are not declared, or that exceed the limit of one dog per accommodation, will be invoiced with a surcharge (see price list).
– Dogs and other animals must not be left loose, or even locked up on the campsite, in the absence of their owners who are civilly responsible for them.
– Dogs and cats must be shown their health records on entering the campsite and must wear a collar. In accordance with article 211-1 of the French Rural Code, and the decrees and ministerial orders implementing it.

8° VISITORS

After being authorised by the Management or Reception staff, visitors may be admitted to the campsite under the responsibilitý of the campers receiving them. The camper must be present at Reception to welcome their visitors. Identification or a deposit will be required. If these visitors are allowed to enter the campsite, the camper receiving them is required to pay a fee. This fee is displayed at the entrance to the campsite and at the reception desk.
Visitors’ cars are not allowed on the campsite.
Visitors do not have access to the campsite’s pool area.
NB: In the event of a large number of visitors, the management reserves the right to close the campsite to all visitors at weekends in July and August.

9° VEHICLE TRAFFIC AND PARKING

Inside the campsite, vehicles must travel at a speed limit of 10 km/h

Traffic is prohibited between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Only vehicles belonging to campers staying at the campsite may circulate within the campsite. Access is gained by reading the number plate at the barrier. In addition, parking must not take up an empty space, impede traffic or prevent new arrivals from settling in.

For everyone’s safety, please respect the direction of traffic within the campsite.

10° MAINTENANCE AND APPEARANCE OF INSTALLATIONS

It is forbidden to dispose of waste water on the ground or in the gutters.

Caravanners must empty their waste water into the facilities provided for this purpose.

Household rubbish, paper and waste of any kind must be deposited at the campsite entrance in the containers for selective sorting (paper, plastic, glass). Batteries and light bulbs should be disposed of in the containers provided at reception. On a voluntary basis, you can help with composting using our bio-bins on loan from reception.

Everyone is required to refrain from any action that could damage the cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of the campsite and its facilities, particularly the sanitary facilities.

Washing is strictly forbidden outside the bins provided for this purpose. Electric tumble dryers are available at the launderette. Clothes may only be hung out on a drying rack. It is strictly forbidden to use the trees on the campsite to hang and dry your washing.
Clothes must be hung out to dry in the electric dryers (laundrette). It is however tolerated́ until 10am neaŕ the pitches and on condition that it is very discreet and does not disturb the neighbours. It must never be done from trees.

Plantations and floral decorations must be respected. Campers are not permitted to drive nails into trees, cut branches or plant anything. Nor is it permitted to demarcate the site of an installation by personal means or to dig up the ground. Any damage to vegetation, fences, the campsite grounds or facilities will be charged to the person responsible.
The pitch used during the stay must be maintained in the condition in which the camper found it́ on entering the premises. It is forbidden to store equipment or materials around or under the caravans and tents that are incompatible with the proper running of the campsite.

11° SECURITY

a) Fire

 

Open fires (wood, coal, etc.) are strictly prohibited. Stoves must be kept in good working order and must not be used in dangerous conditions. In the event of fire, notify Reception immediately. Fire extinguishers may be used if necessarý. Any misuse is prohibited.

b) Health

 

A first-aid kit and defibrillator are available at the reception desk. Emergency numbers are displayed at reception.

c) Barbecue

 

 Communal barbecue :
Communal barbecues are available on the campsite and are freely accessible (unless the prefect decides otherwise). Please use them with the utmost caution, do not leave your fire unattended and put it out completely when you leave.

Barbecues on your pitch or in your accommodation:
Charcoal or wood barbecues are not permitted on your pitch or accommodation.
Gas barbecues are authorised if, and only if, they have no flame.
Electric barbecues are tolerated provided that their maximum power does not exceed 2000W and that the holidaymaker undertakes not to use other powerful appliances at the same time so as not to exceed the electrical power of his/her accommodation or pitch.

d) Theft

 

The management accepts no responsibility for theft from pitches or accommodation. Safe deposit boxes are available to campers at reception. Campers are responsible for their own equipment and must report the presence of any suspicious person to the manager. Campsite users are asked to take the usual precautions to safeguard their equipment.

12° GAMES

No violent or disruptive games may be played near the facilities. The use of children’s play areas is subject to specific rules posted at the entrance to the facilities. Children must always be supervised by their parents.

13° DEAD GARAGE

No unoccupied equipment may be left on the pitch.

14° DISPLAY

These rules and regulations are displayed at the entrance to the campsite and at the reception desk. They will be given to customers on request. They can also be consulted on our website www.camping-latama.com

15° INFRINGEMENT OF THE INTERNAL RULES

 

In the event of a resident disrupting the stay of other users or failing to comply with the provisions of these rules and regulations, the Management will issue an oral warning, followed by a written warning if necessary. If the offences continue, the Management will evict all holidaymakers from the accommodation or pitch causing the disturbance, without compensation or reimbursement.

 
The following offences and incivilities (non-exhaustive list) will lead to a warning, followed by eviction if necessary:
– Noise pollution during the day and at night
– Driving inside the campsite between 11pm and 7am
– Insults, aggression, threats, inappropriate gestures, lack of respect… towards campsite staff
– Dog faeces not collected
– Rubbish bins left on terraces or pitches. 

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that gulls present on the campsite will attack rubbish bins left there, scattering all the rubbish around the campsite. We therefore ask you to be extremely vigilant.

 
In the event of a criminal offence, the manager will call in the police.

16° LPG VEHICLES

All LPG vehicles must be identified at reception.

17° CLAIMS MANAGEMENT

Any complaint concerning a holiday must be sent by email to sav@cottageparks.fr. To be taken into account, this complaint must reach Cottageparks Méditerranée no later than 15 days after the end of the services.

 
Any negative or abusive comment posted on the web before a written complaint has been sent by email to sav@cottageparks.fr will not give rise to any right to compensation.


Similarly, any inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour towards our teams will not entitle you to any compensation whatever the problems encountered during your stay.

18° SPECIAL CONDITIONS : LAGOON 

The water park at Camping La Tamarissière is OPEN EVERY DAY FROM 10.00 to 19.00 in low season and FROM 10.00 to 20.00 in high season.

 

You must leave your shoes at the entrance, go through the foot bath and take a shower.

 

Authorised clothing is displayed at the entrance to the pool. No exceptions are permitted. Failure to comply will result in refusal of access to the pool. Only the following items of clothing are permitted in our pool area: swimming trunks, 1-piece and 2-piece swimming costumes. Long shorts, Bermuda shorts, T-shirts, burkinis, etc. are not permitted.

 

Children must swim under parental supervision, as swimming is not supervised in the aquatic area.

Any child under the age of 10 caught entering the pool alone will be escorted back to their pitch by the Management. Repeat offenders will be banned from the pool for the duration of their stay.

 

It is forbidden to smoke, eat or drink in the lagoon.
It is forbidden to bring sound equipment and to disturb other people resting.
It is forbidden to push or jump on anyone in the lagoon.
It is forbidden to place towels or any other personal objects on deckchairs.
It is forbidden to swim with swimming goggles, small toys or any other object that could block the lagoon’s natural filtration system.

 

Wearing a wristband is compulsory. 

A red bracelet will be given to children who cannot swim.

 

In the event of non-compliance with the swimming pool rules, the person in question will not be allowed access to the pool during their stay on the campsite.

 

Please note: do not leave valuable footwear at the entrance to avoid any disappointment. Access to the swimming pool is forbidden outside opening hours. The management declines all responsibility in the event of non-compliance with these rules.

19° PARCABOUT

The Parcabout is a free activity on the campsite, with free access during opening hours (see signs on site).


Use of the Parcabout must be under parental supervision and in compliance with the rules posted at the entrance. Here are a few examples:
– A maximum of 3 people at any one time in the deck net
– 10 people maximum simultaneously in the large central net
– 20 minutes maximum per person on the course
– It is forbidden to take the course in the opposite direction

20° CLIMBING WALL

The climbing wall is a free activity on the campsite and is freely accessible during opening hours. We ask you to respect the opening times indicated around the climbing wall. It is forbidden to use the climbing wall outside opening hours.
Use of the climbing wall must be under parental supervision and in compliance with the posted rules.
It is compulsory to wear the equipment required and supplied on site.
