Les Hérault film and TV festival near La Tamarissière

A summer cinema event in Cap d’Agde

Located just a few kilometers from La Tamarissière, the Les Hérault du Cinéma et de la Télé festival is the major cultural event of the summer in Agde. Created in 2004 by Agde town council and local tourism stakeholders, the festival aims to promote the Hérault region and the town of Agde as a veritable filming location for cinema and television.

Each edition brings together numerous personalities from the big and small screens: actors, directors, scriptwriters and film professionals come to preview their work. Screenings of feature films and shorts, book signings and meetings with the public make this festival one of the highlights of your vacation in Cap d’Agde.

Since 2009, the festival has also included a section dedicated to French TV series, taking advantage of the public’s enthusiasm for productions such as Candice Renoir and Plus Belle la Vie. Today, the Hérault du Cinéma et de la Télé festival brings together cinema and television in a single event, held every June at the Palais des Congrès in Cap d’Agde Méditerranée.

Holidaymakers staying at La Tamarissière can easily access and enjoy the public screenings. Screenings are free of charge, but require an invitation to be collected directly from Agde town hall or the Palais des Congrès.
